Solange Prat is an Argentinian singer and songwriter. She has just moved to New York to keep on developing her carrer and perform her own music. Her songs tell stories about her own experiences through life and show how she´s been influenced by a variety of music styles, from Brazilian and Latin American to jazz and soul among others.
Solange started her music studies at a very young age as well as her career as a musician and actress. Graduated from Escuela de Música Contemporánea (Berklee International Network) in 2004 and also studied theatre and dance. In her native Buenos Aires she appeared in Hairspray(2008-2009) and Rent(2008). She has also worked as a singer for Disneyand toured the world many times (e.g. Europe, Asia, Latin America) with several international artists as vocal coach and back vocals. She also worked for Royal Caribbean Cruisesas a singer of the production shows and starred “Libremente”(1999) on t.v. as an actress and singer. She released the cd”Nada Fue”with the band Ojalaand also “Shake”as a soloist in Portugal. In 2007 she recorded her first EP, “Voy”, as a singer and songwriter.
The combination of her spanish roots and her international musical background and experience make her style original and unique.
