The Movement for Peace in Colombia invites you to a cocktail and discussion with a group of human rights activists that are visiting Washington and New York. They are here to meet with members of international agencies such as the Organization of American States and the United Nations and to meet with US senators and congresspersons in order to present the case for a political solution to the Colombian internal war, the need to reduce the tensions that have surfaced between Colombia and its neighbors, the issue of the proposed US military bases in Colombia and the human rights situation in our country.
