Terraza 7 Train Café is a meeting place located in the heart of Queens, NY – directly between Elmhurst and Jackson Heights – two locations containing the most diverse population of working class immigrants on the planet.

Terraza Café has a commitment with all of our local artistic and political expressions of our community.  This is a space open to promote intercultural bridges among us in one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the world (Elmhurst/Jackson Heights)

Diaspora bring us the opportunity of a most values cultural experiment that let us have a better understanding of the human complexity and cultural diversity, promoting a behavior full of creativity, solidarity and respect for the differences.
As you must know, we never charge to non-for profit organizations. We encourage you to use weeks days for literary events an weekends for live music performances.

We are open for workshops if you are interested in running one.  At this moment we have an Afro-Colombian folk workshops and live music every Saturday we will start soon Jazz appreciation on Sundays and yembe on Fridays. Also we offer a original short film series at Mondays, Afro Peruvian/jazz every Thursday

At this moment the place is open for two independence organizations that are running a poetry series: Jackson heights poetry festival the firs Tuesday of every month and “momentos de” a poetry and local activism that take place every two weeks on Wednesday.
